Deep-pour structural grout — reference specifications

Reference product
SikaGrout Deep Pour, 20 kg bag
Pack and type
20 kg; Class A and C shrinkage-compensated cementitious grout.
Applications
Mass grouting, machine bedplates, anchor bolts, bridge bearing pads and precast sections.
Application depth
20–500 mm. Above 500 mm the PDS requires clean, well-graded smooth aggregate to reduce exothermic heat; it does not give a universal extended-depth limit.
Mix and yield
2.5–2.8 L water per 20 kg; approximately 9.8 L grout yield.
Compressive strength
Approx. 12 MPa at 1 day; 30 MPa at 3 days; 50 MPa at 7 days; 70 MPa at 28 days.
Strength test basis
AS 1478.2:2005; 50 × 50 mm cubes, material/curing at 23°C and 50% RH. Laboratory values, not a site guarantee.
Application window
Ambient/substrate 5–35°C; approximate pot life 30 minutes at 20°C.
Curing
Begin immediately and continue at least 7 days. Optimum material/substrate temperature is 18–25°C before/during placement and for 48 hours afterwards.

Strength figures are laboratory reference values on the stated test basis. Select the grout and placement method against the project specification and current manufacturer data sheet.

Selected reference fields compared on 2026-10-05. Pack, depth, water/yield, strength test basis, temperatures, pot life and curing compared; source qualifiers retained.
